Call for Proposals
We invite you to participate in the 2026 AAOA Annual Meeting Call for Proposals. The AAOA is seeking proposals for its educational sessions for the 2026 Annual Meeting.
You can submit ideas for didactic lectures, game-based learning sessions, panels, peer-to-peer breakouts, or something out of the ordinary! You can submit clinical conundrums, challenging cases, how I do it, practice management challenges/solutions, and more
For each idea, please include:
- Topic
- What you hope you or your peers will get out of the session (objectives)
- Format (lecture, panel, game-based, peer-to-peer, other)
- Suggested speaker (it can be you!)
- Reference citations, if appropriate
The deadline for submissions is 11:59 PM ET, Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
Sticking to our hybrid format, the Annual Meeting will kick off with pre-work August __ with the live/live stream content taking place on September ____ at The Loews Ventana Canyons, Tucson AZ and virtually.
After submission of your proposal, the AAOA Education Committee will review all submissions and, if your proposal is chosen, an AAOA staff member will reach out to inform you of the decision.

Non-commercial product names must be used wherever possible. All off-label or non-FDA approved uses must be disclosed. Failure to comply with the session proposal submission requirements may result in automatic withdrawal of the session proposal for consideration by the program committee and possible suspension from future meeting presentations. Please note, if selected, Annual Meeting faculty must assume all expenses (i.e. hotel room, flights, etc.), must be registered for the meeting, which is free for AAOA members in good standing, and must present in-person. The AAOA does not reimburse these expenses and does not offer compensation for participating as faculty.
