AAOA-ARS Virtual Allergy and Rhinology Panel: Endotyping in Chronic Rhinosinusitis
Peter Filip, MD, FAAOA; Dana Crosby, MD, FAAOA; Kara Detwiller, MD; Kent Lam, MD; and Mona Patadia, MD, FAAOA have developed a terrific panel discussion around endotypes of chronic sinusitis.
This panel reviews the utility of CRS endotyping in clinical as well as research settings and their relevance to classical phenotypes, pathophysiology, and immunology. The discussion also encompasses the practicalities of endotyping, the necessary institutional infrastructure, and panelist preferences. Lastly, the panel focuses on recalcitrant chronic sinusitis and highlight real cases that help elucidate role of endotyping in practical settings as a potential driver for further surgical management, medical therapy, and the use of biologics.
To watch the panel and claim CME credit, you must be registered for the 2025 AAOA Annual Meeting, as the panel recording will be included in the meeting Pre-Work content. Register Now
