Learn How To Access

Welcome

Welcome to the 2020 AAOA Annual Meeting. Thank you for taking this opportunity with us to experience CME in a wholly virtual format. Our goal is to offer you choices in how you view the content — Live Stream and On Demand — to maximize your participation. We would love your feedback on the format, platform, and, of course, the content.

Launched to give you access to content prior to the Live Stream sessions, our On Demand content available now spans topics from component testing, immunotherapy compliance, and office-based procedures to migraine vs allergy, sleep, AERD, and of course, biologics.

Join us live for an in depth look at the emerging role of biologics in ENT. Featuring Bob Schliemer, MD and Tom Casale, renowned authorities on biologics and management of inflammatory disease, Saturday, Oct 24th promises to give you great insights into how biologics can make an impact on your patients and your practice.

Quality care and good patient outcomes are not possible without a strong practice. Join us Sunday, Oct 25th for the latest on telehealth, the new E/M codes, allergy coding, office efficiencies, revenue streams, and more. Once again Teresa Thompson, Thompson Consulting, Amy Anderson, KZA, and Cheyenne Brinson, KZA will share their expertise on the integral issues impacting your office.

As we work into the work week (Oct 26-29), we have something special for your.  Staggering our mid-day starts to match the time zones, we have a unique lunch format based on the surgeons’ lounge.  Join your peers to get clinical insights into common symptoms or patient management approaches — everything from AERD, Allergy Emergencies, SLIT, and Cough to tips to improve office efficiency post COVID and antigen selection will be featured.  The speakers are looking forward to your questions and your experience to make this a real peer-to-peer learning experience.

Our weekday evenings (Oct 26-29), we are mixing it up with several innovative approaches. For those who participate in our summer course, you will be happy to know Dr. Reisacher is back to host another game show — this time on immunotherapy.   Mike Platt, MD and Keith Sale, MD will host game shows as well to round out the week. And those on demand videos available now, join the presenters to get the quick take aways as part of our Clinical Pearls segments.

We are excited to have your participation. We encourage you to use all the app functions to share your questions, chat with peers, and learn the latest from our exhibit partners by visiting their booths and showcases to get a better sense of what is new to support your ENT/Allergy practice.

For those member and nonmembers who register for the AAOA 2020 Annual Meeting Oct 24-29 (live stream) before October 15th, you will be offered complimentary registration to participate in the AAO-HNSF “Comprehensive Otolaryngology Week” component of the AAO-HNSF 2020 Virtual Annual Meeting & OTO Experience. Access to the Comprehensive week – Each registrant will receive a welcome email with login instructions once the AAOA Annual Meeting Registration list is imported. The deadline to register to get the access is October 15th.
